I seek art and beauty through different lenses; from the macroscale to the microscale.
My international background has fueled a strong desire to explore culture through design, which I have pursued personally, academically, and professionally.
While earning my Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2018), I also obtained a certificate in urban planning and public policy from the University of Chicago (2017) and worked part-time as an industrial designer drafting custom millwork. Following that, I spent three years in Chicago as a interior architect and furniture designer.
My endeavors led me to pursue a Master's in Architecture and an Integrated Product Design certificate from the University of Pennsylvania (2024), where I graduated with distinction. During my studies, I interned at HOK, focusing on large-scale projects, and at PennPraxis, which centered on a local arts community center.
This journey has allowed me to engage with various design disciplines across vast scales. What has driven my curiosity is the opportunity to share and transform stories into meaningful designs for the communities that inspire them. I aim to continue this journey as a designer in an ever-evolving world, infusing significance into the spaces and objects we inhabit.
